What a year it’s been!
Thank you to all of our clients, freelancers and suppliers – it has been fantastic working with all of you.
A little prematurely (because March and April are personally busy for me, so better earlier than never), here is a round-up of all of the amazing things this year had to offer.
“RG Arts Marketing has gone above and beyond in everything they did for us. They completed each task quickly and with style, and no job was too big or too small. We could not have got to where we are today without Rebecca. I will continue using her services and passing on my recommendations to all.”
Sophie, Learning Programme Manager, Royal Shakespeare Company
In the last 12 months we have:
Started to put together the marketing, press and social strategy for Art in the Park 2023. Wrote 10 year milestone press release and began plan of action for the summer.
Started to put together the campaign for the major outdoor summer installation being created by artist Julia Snowdin. Press and marketing campaign to follow in summer 2023.
Managed the social media campaign for Warwickshire’s King’s Coronation event – wrote copy and created paid social campaign.
Worked on a piece of marketing consultancy work for The Berry Theatre in Southampton, putting together a 60+ page marketing strategy for their 2023 Christmas show, carrying out research, writing copy, suggesting ideas, identifying strategy KPIs, auditing current campaign elements and much more.
Helped get a simple Wordpress portfolio website set up for renowned visual artist Alisha Miller and then handed this back to the client to manage.
Created a series of online training videos to support marketing staff at Heritage & Culture Warwickshire. Worked in collaboration with local videography agency Chin Badger Media.
Carried out an in-depth digital audit for Warwickshire business Sew Me Something, resulting in an 86 page digital marketing strategy document (and ‘on demand’ training videos for staff) which presented evaluation, research and recommendations for 7 marketing areas such as website, email, SEO and social media.
Helped get a simple Wordpress portfolio website set up for Warwickshire events company Slate and then handed this back to the client to manage.
Carried out a branding consultation and graphic design project for financial services company N37 – re-branded presentations, created a new logo and gave advice on future branding plans.
Been working as a consultancy agency over the summer for Unboxed 2022 festival, specifically for their project Galwad (Google it, it was epic) – writing a 60 page audience amplification strategy document which gave research, evaluation and best practice recommendations to internal staff and media agencies about how to effectively reach new, relevant audiences.
Carried out a major e-marketing consultancy project for Cheltenham Festivals, working 20 days over the summer to create a 70 page strategy that evaluated and audited their current email marketing model. Analysed data in-depth, presented industry statistics and best practice recommendations, re-designed templates, created future action plans for the team, ran online training sessions and more.
Ran a social media strategy day with Heritage & Culture Warwickshire – working with staff to write a document that assisted them in setting priorities and strategising future ways of working.
Been managing all marketing and press for Shout Out for the Arts, Warwickshire’s Cultural Education Partnership which is the first in the UK to be entirely youth-led. Responsibilities included building and managing website, designing all print and digital materials, writing copy and blogs, running events, organising trailer shoots, writing press releases and more.
“The digital media you have created for Shout Out for the Arts is a real asset to the work and a great advocacy tool.”
Clare Mitchell, LCEP Manager, Arts Connect
Executed press and PR campaign for the 2022 Art in the Park, Warwickshire’s largest outdoor gathering – writing and circulating releases, developing relationships with press and writing and also executing a social media strategy for the event itself, running all social accounts for the duration of the festival.

“Working on RG Arts Marketing projects and with their clients has been eye-opening, interesting and inspiring. I've learnt so much more about digital marketing and in particular the arts sector. Rebecca's years of experience and passion come across in everything she does. She strives to create the best work possible while inspiring creativity in myself and others. She's always thinking of the next step ahead and how to level up every aspect of what she does. Rebecca ensures she's at the forefront of technological changes keeping up to date with industry news and best practices. Her knowledge is second to none and she's always happy to share it with others. Her generous spirit, drive to keep learning and growing make her and her agency a must-have for any arts and culture organisation. While freelancing for Rebecca I have felt valued and appreciated at every point. She goes out of her way to show her gratitude and create a collaborative relationship - her success is your success. She consistently briefs in tasks to a high standard, reguarly checking in and updating me.”
Rosie, RG Arts Marketing Freelance Marketing Assistant
In this last year we have also:
Expanded our team and now work with a regular assistant as well as other freelancers and suppliers who support us to do what we do.
Attended dozens of online and in person courses, CPDs and training sessions.
Became officially-qualified in all things digital marketing with a Digital Marketing DMI Pro Diploma from the Digital Marketing Institute.
In 2023/2024, we will:
Be completely closed for business 1st April – 1st May and out of the country.
Be re-branding some of the services we offer and putting together some consultancy packages (creative days, power hour Zooms, retainer consultation services).
This financial year’s not over yet. We’ve got a few loose ends to tie up on all of the above but otherwise…
… time for a wee rest.
